School Field Trips

Student Matinees

The day before a production’s premiere, our doors are open for students to see the final dress rehearsal in the beautiful Ellie Caulkins Opera House. For the discounted price of $7 student groups are invited to experience ballet first hand, complete with full costumes, make-up, sets, lighting and sound. Then the curtain opens and the magic begins.

Day of Dance

Day of Dance is a field trip available to students at all grade levels. Bring up to 150 students to Colorado Ballet's studios for a rotation of introductory classes in a variety of dance styles. Classes may include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, African, Salsa, Bollywood, Hip Hop, Flamenco, and modern dance, or Company rehearsal viewings and tours of our Costume Shop. The cost is $7 per student.
